Zarephath Ministries

Zarephath Kitchen

Open Monday - Friday, 11 am - 1 pm

Anyone needing a hot meal is served; there is no criteria for admittance, no identification required and no limit to how often a person can come. The kitchen served it's first meal on Christmas day in 1985. This grew to 3 meals a week in January 1986 and by June of 1986 it had expanded to 5 days a week. Initially 700 meals were served monthly. This has grown to the current monthly average of over 3,000 meals.

It is estimated over 41,000 meals will be served in 2011.

Contact the Kitchen at 503-667-2692 from 10 am - 2 pm.
