The purpose of this ministry is to reach out to those in need with a shawl of prayers and love to comfort, console, and strengthen our family of faith. We want to be a reminder of God's promise that He is always with us. Upon completion of the shawls, a final blessing is offered before it is delivered by the pastoral staff, parish visitors, requestor, or member of the Shawl Ministry. Completed shawls have been gifted to those as far away as New York, Florida, Alaska, Washington, California, and Michigan for a large variety of reasons.
Confidential referral forms are available through the church office to request a prayer shawl for someone in need.
Prayer shawls are never sold. They may only be given away.
