Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

WHO WE ARE:

The W.E.L.C.A (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) are sending you a special welcome.  Two of the strong points of WELCA are involvement of women in church life and highlighting how church life relates to everyday living.

As a partner in the total ministry of the church, the organization affirms, supports and challenges women in their daily ministries at home and around the world.  Click on the following link to find out more about W.E.L.C.A.

As a community  of women created in the image of GOD, called to discipleship in JESUS CHRIST, and empowered by the HOLY SPIRIT, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.

We would, therefore, encourage you to meet with us at one of our Circle meetings.

Deborah/Naomi 3rd Wednesday 1:30 p.m.
Esther 2nd Tuesday 2 p.m.
Lydia 3rd Wednesday 10 a.m.
Mary Martha 2nd Tuesday 7:00 p.m.

At these meetings, there is Bible Study, a business meeting and some circles have projects to work on. This is a great way to get acquainted. Every other month, we have a General Meeting which is the business meeting of all the Circles together, plus a special program.

Please feel free to call the church office (503-665-3197) for more information, and we hope to see you soon!

Your presence will make a difference to others and you will have a sense of partnership with other women.
